What data do we collect?

We collect and use information like your name, biological gender, education level, country of residence, height and weight, to better personalize your app experience, update your biomarker information and calculate your biological age. Why do we need your data?

We need to process your personal information in order to provide the service to you and create your personal biological age. We only collect personal data that is needed. You can access, manage or delete your data through the Longevity Biomarkers App.

How do we obtain your data?

We obtain your data when you

• enter your basic information during the registration process
• allow Longevity Biomarkets to sync with Apple Health
• enter information needed to personalize biomarkers and biological age

How do we use your data?

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve our Services. For example, we use your information to provide you with data analyses, notifications, trends, insights, and visualizations associated with your data.
• Personalize and improve the Services and to develop new ones: show you more relevant content and provide you with personalized insights to help you improve. For example, information such as your height and weight allows us to derive estimates of your BMI.
• Communicate with You: We use your information when necessary to send you important notices about the Services, provide you notifications that are part of the Services, and respond to you when you contact us. You can control marketing communications via the “Update Preferences” and “Unsubscribe” links in an email.
• Keeping our Services Safe and Secure: We use the information we collect to advance and promote the security and safety of our users. For example, we may use the information to authenticate users, respond to a legal request or claim, enforce our terms and policies, and conduct audits.

How do we protect your data?

We use a combination of physical, technological, and administrative measures to protect the information that we collect from or about you from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. These measures include the use of Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) technology to allow for the encryption of many of our Services.

Your passwords are encrypted using strong irreversible hashing algorithm bcrypt.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data as long as you are subscribed to our services. You can choose to delete your data via setting in the App. If you choose to delete your account, please note that while most of your information will be deleted within 30 days, it may take up to 90 days to delete all of your information, like the data stored in our backup systems. This is due to the complexity and size of the systems we use to store data.
